Just as a mangrove’s root systems intertwine and work together to protect our shoreline, thse organizes work in different areas and fields arcoess The Bahamas in order to protect our environment in various different ways. As we celebreate these organizations, wee’re also workign with them to raise funding to support ttheir causes.

All this month, were challenging the members of the community to learn more about these organizations and their positive impact in their areas, and garner support for their causes. At the end of the month, we’ll tally the leader and Bahamas Protected will match your support to aid in their cause.

Eeden Farms is a Bahamian company that specializes in containerized hydroponic farming and which provides superior quality produce to the Agricultural industry in the Bahamas 365 days a year, with regular weekly harvests in volume.

The Bahamas National Trust is a science-based organization dedicated to effectively managing national parks to conserve and protect Bahamian natural resources. BNT is a non-profit, non-government, membership organization that relies on donations to continue conserving and protecting the Bahamian environment.

Bahamas Sustainable Fuels is a partnership between 700 Islands Energy and Bahamas Waste. They produce Biodiesel, an economic biofuel, that can be blended with or replace diesel fuels and are the largest refinery in the Caribbean. Their mission is to locally produce and distribute high-quality Biodiesel for use as renewable fuel for transportation and power generation.
